Spa-licious Holiday Gifts As the shopping day ticker counts down, your stress levels may soar. Give this preholiday present to yourself: Skip the mall. Instead, visit your spa or health food store (bonus: no lines!) for last-minute, soul-soothing aromatherapy gifts.

HERE’S OUR FAVORITE QUICKIE: Tuck two or three bottles of pure essential oils into a little basket, along with a votive candle diffuser to scent the room.

For him, give peppermint (revitalizes), rosemary (refreshes memory), and lavender (relaxes).

For her, offer bergamot (mood lifter), rose (insomnia), and clary sage (calming during PMS/menopause).

Or, make like the Wise Men and give oils of frankincense and myrrh. These soothe muscle pain when you add several drops of each to an ounce of any massage oil. Package them along with a bottle of massage oil and the recipe for relief.
